CIC Clerk I - Wire Transfers/Returns

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 
40%--Customer Service.  Provide fast, friendly assistance.  Meet the banks customer service standards in key are of: telephone etiquette, personal courtesy, speed of service respond to all customers and co-workers, product knowledge, professional appearance, and accuracy of problem resolution.
 
30%--Wire Transfer/Telephone Transfers, Currency Orders.  Prepare incoming and outgoing wire and telephone transfers.  Must comply with bank SOP and Federal guidelines. Accurate completion of Fed-Line activity.  Review reports for all incoming wires, large returns, pre-notifications, Notice of Change (NOCs), and verification of outgoing wires.  Complete all transfers with established timelines with no errors and all transactions documents completed.  Participate in rotation of duties plan.  Place savings bond orders accurately and timely. Follow instructions to order cash weekly from Federal Reserve.
 
 25%--Nonpost, Returns, Chargebacks, balancing, Quality Control and Back up for the department.  Verify and repair non-post exceptions daily, keeping General Ledger accounts in balance. Balance Deposit Applications to General Ledger.  Balance applications to General Ledger and type codes.  Research differences in balances and notify appropriate departments to make corrections. Perform quality control duties in department.  Balance assigned General Ledger accounts and complete monthly certifications. Cross train in other areas in Central Operations Department.
 
5%--Backup and Bankers Training. Back up the department. Must complete assigned Bankers Training courses each year as assigned.
