Finance & Membership Administrator
📍 Hobbs, NM | 💼 Full-Time | 💲 $16.25–$20.50/hr (DOE)
The Hobbs Chamber of Commerce is seeking a detail-driven Finance & Membership Administrator with a strong background in accounting and financial operations. This role is essential to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budgeting and reporting, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
🔹 Manage core accounting functions using QuickBooks (AP/AR, reconciliations, reporting)
🔹 Prepare monthly financial reports and support annual budgeting
🔹 Process payroll support, invoices, and reimbursements
🔹 Oversee membership billing, collections, and financial records
🔹 Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting requirements
🔹 Support events, communications, and administrative operations
What We’re Looking For
✔ 2+ years experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
✔ Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
✔ High attention to detail and accuracy
✔ Excellent communication and organizational skills
✔ Ability to manage confidential financial data
Schedule & Details
🕒 Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📅 Occasional evenings/weekends for Chamber events
